Test build of 2.0.4 now available
I've uploaded a test build of 2.0.4 to http://vienna-rss.sourceforge.net/Vienna2.0.4.2033.dmg. No new features - just bug fixes.
The final release of 2.0.4 is scheduled for early May along with the first test build of 2.1.

2.0.3 Released
It's out there now. If you do Help->Check for Updates, you'll get the new version. If you have check for new version on startup enabled in the preferences, you'll get the announcement. Otherwise you can just go to the web site and download it from there.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

WinMac
Now that there's a way to boot Windows on a MacIntel machine, I think my last excuses not to switch to a MacBook are running out. However I'm not partial to a 15" display so I'm inclined to wait a bit longer to see if a 17" MacBook Pro will manifest by the WWDC.
The PowerBook will still remain my primary development and test machine. Having a slower machine means that I'm constantly optimising for the best experience on the lowest common denomination system. While there may be people with systems slower than a 800Mhz G4 Powerbook, I'm pretty confident that I'm at the slower end of the curve. And even then, Vienna runs pretty well.
Incidentally, version 2.0.3 is due out shortly. And early May will bring the first beta release of 2.1. Keep an eye on the site for the news.
(And why do I need Windows? Three reasons - Half Life 2, Quake 4 and Doom 3).

Web Site
The www.opencommunity.co.uk web site is in a bit of flux as I'm trying to move it over to the SourceForge web hosting service so that all the admins will have update access to it. Right now there's a bunch of errors due to DNS problems that may take a few hours to shake out. If nothing is working by EOD, I'll put everything back as it was and do a bit more homework before trying again.
The site is still due for a redesign but that's on ice until after 2.0.3 is out of the door sometime this week. I'm currently testing a fix for Tim Bray's atom feed which has proven to be one of the more challenging parsing problems I've seen. On the plus side, Vienna is passing most of the Atom and RSS aggregator tests that I've found on the web.
[Update: the move failed so the web site is back at its original site.]
