Web Site

The www.opencommunity.co.uk web site is in a bit of flux as I'm trying to move it over to the SourceForge web hosting service so that all the admins will have update access to it. Right now there's a bunch of errors due to DNS problems that may take a few hours to shake out. If nothing is working by EOD, I'll put everything back as it was and do a bit more homework before trying again.

The site is still due for a redesign but that's on ice until after 2.0.3 is out of the door sometime this week. I'm currently testing a fix for Tim Bray's atom feed which has proven to be one of the more challenging parsing problems I've seen. On the plus side, Vienna is passing most of the Atom and RSS aggregator tests that I've found on the web.

[Update: the move failed so the web site is back at its original site.]

Comments:
I hope that you have some kind of local backup of the Vienna repository. The recent problems with the SourceForge CVS are a bit unsettling. Anway, it looks like you switched to Subversion just in time!

What were the recent problems with the SourceForge CVS?

Hardware failure, outages, some filesystem corruption:
