Test build of 2.0.4 now available
I've uploaded a test build of 2.0.4 to http://vienna-rss.sourceforge.net/Vienna2.0.4.2033.dmg. No new features - just bug fixes.
The final release of 2.0.4 is scheduled for early May along with the first test build of 2.1.

I like Vienna, but please keep it clean. Version 2.1.0 is starting to add clutter around... Please, do not turn an RSS reader into a web browser. Keep it clean. I would rather have the possibility to save an article than browser through web pages back and forth.
I have an idea for a useful step forward. We all have experienced the annoying bit with ads and pop-ups, both in the browser and in Vienna. Camino's extension "CamiTools" allows you to read any page with a custom css, cutting away most of the clutter. I think Vienna could improve its browsing facility in the similar way. Indeed, some of the rss feeds are incomplete, and one must browse the original page to read the article. The original page has plenty of clutter in it. Vienna could display that page using the same css that has been selected for the rss. Clever improvements will eventually display the article only. Another improvement is the possibility to save the articles, or keep a local copy of it for as long as you want. I find the disposal of old messages a useful feature, but I would like to keep all the flagged messages, possibly in the same folder of the rss site. Keep up with the good work!!!
Hey,
I'm a Peace Corps volunteer Samoa. I use Vienna more than a web browser now. Thanks a bunch for the work you put into this. I promise I'll donate some money when I'm stateside, and I have a real job.
In terms of feedback what I like is the simplicity coupled with the ability to view everything offline.
In terms of what I'd like, I dont know if you are really soliciting this :), I'd like to be able to alter the default timeout for fetching urls. It's important to me, and I assume many in the developing world, because I dont really have access to the best internet access.
Also, does vienna adhere to the proxy settings in the network section of the system preferences? If not is it possible to make it do this so that I can get around urls blocked by firewalls?
Thanks again for the hard work, and I'm looking forward to 2.1.

It appears that Vienna does respect the proxy settings, awesome. Now I just need to figure out the timeout problem.
I couldn't find an address on the website to send bugs to, so I am trying here instead.
When I create a smart folder to show only posts from the folder 'Foo' that has been posted on the current date, and name it "articles from today and from folder foo", it only takes a restart of Vienna to rename the Smart folder to 'Todays Articles', so that I have two of them.
Is any one else seeing this behaviour?
