New icons for 2.1
Przemek Bojarowski, a digital designer from Poland, kindly donated a couple of icons for Vienna. I thought they were interesting enough to consider as a replacements for the main Vienna icon in 2.1. I'd be interested in what other people think. Here they are:

Off topic - it would be useful to have some screenshots of Vienna on the site. Then I could take a look and see what I think before downloading.
I prefer the icon of 2.0 as well - I used to occasionally click the Mail icon instead of Vienna (and vice versa) by mistake, but that's been remedied by reordering my dock icons a bit.
Sorry, but I'm not very fond of the icon of 2.0... Looks like a Palm for kids...
I like both new ones. Maybe a little bit more the megaphone, quite funny.

I agree with the majority, I think the 2.0 Vienna icon is very excellent. I also agree with biglittledragon, it does look a little like a PDA, however I think it looks like more of a tablet PC. Nice, slick, excellent the way it is. The new icons are ok, but they don't seem to capture the essence of Vienna. For an RSS newsreader you (or at least I) don't think of a megaphone or a radio, more like a newspaper, PDA, tablet, etc. News delivery. The new icons seem more like candidates for a podcast application, so if you're thinking of making one of those, there you go.
Thanks for the feedback. I think we'll stick with the current icon for now but no doubt I can find a use for the new ones somewhere.
